Privacy policy

This policy covers the website lightsend.ch. For data processed inside a LightSend installation, its operator is responsible — see the last section.

What this website does not do

It sets no cookies, embeds no fonts, maps or videos from third-party servers, and uses no analytics or advertising services. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Opening a page contacts this website and nothing else. What the browser loads can be verified in the developer tools.

Server logs

On every request the web server records the IP address, the time, the address requested, the browser identification and the referring link. This is technically necessary to keep the service running and to detect faults and attacks.

The logs are not combined with other data and are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period. The site is hosted with a provider in Switzerland.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the form or by email, we process what you provide: name, company, email address and your message. We use it to answer your enquiry and for nothing else.

The enquiry goes to our mailbox and is kept as long as the business relationship or statutory retention periods require. It is not passed on to third parties and not used for advertising.

Your rights

You may ask at any time whether and which data we process about you, request correction or deletion, and object to processing.

A short message to info@lightnet.ch is enough. You also have the right to complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Data inside a LightSend installation

LightSend runs on each customer’s own server. Responsibility for the data processed there lies solely with that operator.

lightnet multimedia gmbh has no access to it. Files are encrypted in the browser before upload and the key never reaches the server — even the operator cannot read the contents of a transfer. That is not an assurance but a property of the design.
